From the ages of 6 to 17 I studied  ballet and dance based Pilates .  I loved ballet and the creative expression of dance, classical music and of course I had dreams of being on the stage.  This dream was short lived when I grew to a height of 5 foot 9 at 12 years of age. I hated team sports, I was creative and thought netball and basketball were too masculine.  It wasn’t until later in life that Nike and Asics began an integral part of my wardrobe. Exercise is so important to me for my peace of mind and mental attitude.
